As a PMHNP at Northeast Health Services, I am driven by compassion and dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey towards mental well-being. With specialized training and expertise in psychiatry, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of holistic mental health care options to address a wide range of psychiatric concerns. My primary goal is to create a warm and non-judgmental space where clients feel understood, heard and safe working together to find a treatment approach that best supports their unique needs.

I have helped people who reported anxiety that "comes unannounced from nowhere", or had been feeling low and having difficulty finding motivation, or who were just not feeling like themselves for different reasons including poor sleep, low energy, inability to stop worrying, and inability to concentrate to complete tasks.

I want to work with clients who are active partners rather than recipients. I view providing care as a partnership. My ideal patient is seeking care because they want to feel better and improve their life. An ideal patient makes their needs and goals known as we work together. I admire my patients who have an open mind to suggestions for interventions that may improve how they feel. I believe this flexibility can open up new possibilities for well-being.

I have 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. My practice uses a whole person approach connecting mental health and medicine, mind and body. I collaborate with other professionals such as therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, guidance counselors, teachers, and family members (with your consent). Clients are encouraged to engage with a therapist, recognizing that this is a personal choice.

I am a physician, Board Certified in Adult psychiatry, specializing in medication management of a variety of mental health-related problems, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive conditions, etc. I am also treating substance abuse-related conditions, including opioid dependence. I offer primarily IN-PERSON appointments in our office in Woburn. Telehealth appointments are optional depending on the complexity and treatment needs.

Reaching out for help can be scary, and in recognition of this, I strive to provide care in a warm, welcoming, and safe environment. I believe a relationship with mutual respect and trust is a requirement for effective psychiatric care. Being honest, transparent, and “real” with patients is the bedrock of this relationship, and I approach care with this mindset. I’m non-judgmental, relaxed, and will always treat you with compassion and dignity. I use a collaborative approach, and believe that you must be involved in decision-making for your treatment to be effective.

Telehealth sessions available. We are an established practice providing care to the community since 2011. Our specialty is treating patients with anxiety, depression and ADHD. Our approach has always been holistic by considering your social, personal and work environment as well as your medical history.

How do we learn to understand and trust what our feelings are saying to us? What makes it possible to change entrenched ways of coping that are not working? My focus in therapy is to help patients deepen their personal relationships and find their work more rewarding; medication can sometimes help alleviate symptoms that interfere with achieving these goals. By providing a safe and supportive environment for the patient's search for self-understanding, and listening closely to what is being said and not said, I collaborate with the patient in finding creative and pragmatic ways to overcome obstacles to change.

To provide our patients with the best care possible, we try to incorporate all their opinions into all therapeutic decisions.The clinician shall respect the clients' agreement to engage in their treatment and consult and collaborate with other disciplines of the healthcare continuum, such as psychotherapists, primary care doctors, and specialists, as needed, with the goal of providing equitably itemized treatment.

I run an esketamine clinic at a Boston teaching hospital, and am now accepting patients in my private practice in MetroWest. I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for people who have tried initial treatments, and are hoping to deepen their insights and awareness.

Some challenges and transitions people encounter each day can change outlook, cause stress, bring difficulties, sadness, panic, depression, anxiety and emotional shock. These situations may leave clients confused, distraught and overwhelmed. Focus is to help clients deal with these presenting issues. Working through stressful times and helping clients to attain their optimal level of functioning is a priority. Medication management is big in this practice; however different treatment methods are used and tailored to fit each individual client need.
