Hi! I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida with over ten years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field, ranging from child and adult inpatient care to community mental health crisis stabilization. I received my doctorate at the University of North Florida and immediately started working as a psychiatric nurse in an Inpatient Stabilization Unit. I enjoy serving patients of all ages and with any mental health concerns. I work with individuals with Autism, ADHD, GAD, mood disorders, and more.
I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illnesses through supportive education in a stigma-free environment.
In addition to my practical experience, I have a unique ability to connect with individuals, a capacity to understand them, and the empathy to meet them where they are. A client can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals, and education about diagnosis and available treatment options.
