I am a bilingual (Spanish) Child, Adolescent and young Adult Psychiatrist. I treat most psychiatric illnesses in children, teenagers and young adults. I am comfortable treating patients of any age, gender, sexual orientation, race, cultural or religious background. I am very passionate about what I do and I love making a difference in young people’s lives. It is my philosophy to consider patients and their family as unique, taking the time to listen carefully to all of their concerns, building trust gradually and offering medications only when absolutely necessary.

Patients, if old enough, and parents are involved in the medication selection process, as all available options are discussed openly and the benefits versus the risks are always considered.
