My goal is to foster a collaborative relationship with my patients to develop the best treatment plan to fit your unique needs. You know you best after all. I feel that movement is medicine for both physical and mental health, and will do my best to help guide and encourage all to make healthy behavioral changes to support your overall well-being.
I do primarily medication management but feel behavioral strategies, developing coping skills, good sleep hygiene, and exercise are instrumental in creating the best outcomes. I have a Master's Degree in counseling psychology as well, and though I am not offering full therapy at this time, I do use those techniques and knowledge when treating patients.
In particular, I utilize motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, and the Stages of Change Theoretical model. In my spare time, I enjoy figure skating, yoga, long walks, and DIY projects when inspiration strikes. Looking forward to working with you.
