My patients come to me searching for a mental health provider who is well-rounded, experienced, thorough, and attentive to their life’s story. While I work as a generalist, I have extensive experience treating patients and families who have been coping with chronic stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, pain or other difficult to control physical symptoms associated with medical illness. I also have experience working with individuals and families who are dealing with advanced illness and want to find a psychiatric provider who "get's it."
Whether your problems are physical, psychological, spiritual, or all of the above, I believe there is always something more we can do to improve the quality of your life and support your autonomy, while helping you find peace of mind and comfort in your body. I offer medication management, psychotherapy and family and group work with a narrative focus.
I know that adding therapy to your life might feel overwhelming, particularly if you are living with illness, disability or caregiving responsibilities, but I'm committed to do everything I can to help you address barriers to treatment and will work with you in the here and now to help you survive and thrive.
