As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she collaborates closely with patients, offering medication management and psychotherapy for mental health concerns. Demeka earned her master's from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2020, her bachelor's from Franciscan of Our Lady in 2019, and her Associates from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2012. Before joining Southeast Community Health Systems, she worked in various nursing roles, including medical-surgical, mother/baby, and pediatric nursing.

Lakesha Woods is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse (PMHNP-BC), with a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). Lakesha earned her bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral of nursing practice from Southern University School of Nursing. She provides collaborative mental health services and has experience caring for a wide range of diagnoses across the lifespan. She has over 17 years of combined nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I have a holistic approach that focus on physical, emotional, social and well-being.
