I am a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over twenty years experience in the nursing field. I hold a Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health and am licensed to provide mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment to individuals across the lifespan. Shortly after becoming a nurse in the early 90s, I began working with clients in need of Mental Health Services. Over the years I have held various positions; Staff Nurse to Administrative roles. I have been a psychiatric nurse for over 25 years; have been practicing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2014. During that time I have worked in a variety of settings: inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, telepsychiatry and currently in private practice.

I graduated with my Associate's degree in 2010. Prior to obtaining my nurse practitioner license in 2020 I spent most of my nursing career working in the mental health field. I have worked in acute crisis settings, outpatient settings, inpatient settings and with populations that include: severely mentally ill, forensics, dual diagnostic, substance abuse, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. This experience has been invaluable to me in my role as a provider, enabling me to interact comfortably with individuals of all ages and needs.
