I enjoy caring for moms, especially new moms. One of the things that pushed me into seeking more information about being a mental health provider was the great need for improved care during the peripartum period. I want to focus on caring for pregnant and post-partum parents. With my experience as a NICU nurse and a mom, I have a lot to offer in this area. I am also trained in Perinatal Mood Disorders by Postpartum Support International.
I have also discovered that I enjoy leading group therapy and support groups, especially surrounding Spravato treatment. I enjoy talking to clients and getting to know them and everything that makes them unique. It is amazing to see the process of healing that takes place and the compassion and support clients show for one another.
The most gratifying thing about my work is every time I see a client walk in with brightness and hope in their eyes. There is no greater feeling than knowing that I had even a small role in their healing.
