I am a board certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner and have worked in the outpatient setting for the past 20 years. I focus on creating a comfortable environment for individuals so that healing can begin from the first encounter. Each individual is unique and their treatment plan is developed with their specific needs in mind. Empowering others to uncover their inner pain is facilitated so that happiness can replace that discomfort. Healing is a process and individuals who are depressed, anxious and suffering from other behavioral disorders will be guided on that journey to wellness.
As an active listener, individuals' life story is unfolded so that past experiences can be correlated with current symptoms and suffering. These experiences create a way of behaving that may not support optimal wellness. Guidance in changing these behaviors is provided.
As an advanced practice nurse, I am a true caregiver and excel in providing high level, patient-centered care. I am dedicated to changing the lives of all those suffering from mental illness or the stressors of life.
