My approach to psychiatric treatment follows the biopsychosocial formulation, in essence attempting to understand all of the factors that contribute to a patient's situation and developing a treatment plan that may address these factors.
I believe that patient education and understanding about their diagnosis and medications is a critical part of the treatment plan and will do my best to make sure this is conveyed to my patients to the best of my ability.
