I am board certified in both child/adolescent psychiatry and in general psychiatry. As a physician and therapist, I have a deep understanding of the body, the brain, and the mind. My practice consists of evaluations, psychotherapy, counseling, and medication when it is appropriate. I especially enjoy working with children ages 3-6, as that is the time of peak imagination and creativity. I also enjoy working on difficult problems, such as people with multiple psychiatric problems.
Another special area of expertise I have is working intensively to help people with personality disorders and disorders of the self. This requires meeting two to three times a week for 1-2 years. Yes, it is costly. But what is your emotional well-being worth?
