I treat children and adolescents with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Trauma, Bipolar Disorder and other psychiatric conditions. During the assessment period, I get a comprehensive understanding of the child’s life and how their symptoms are impacting their daily functioning. Patients often come to me when their mental health is impacting their ability to perform their best at school, at home, and socially. After a thorough evaluation, I typically recommend medications that may be helpful for someone's psychiatric needs.
I am dual board-certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I also incorporate brief psychotherapy strategies within my appointments, though this is not meant to replace a dedicated therapist seen more regularly. I value the traditional doctor-patient relationship, and you can be sure your child will always be meeting with me directly.
