Hello to everyone! I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) located in northern Minnesota.I am passionate about helping people and mental health. I strive to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and provide culturally sensitive, non-non-judgmental, non-judgmental, person-centered care. I believe in a holistic, collaborative approach and am looking forward to the opportunity to work with you on meeting your goals. I created Compassionate Quality Psychiatry with the goal to provide quality, compassionate, affordable care to the community in Minnesota.
I commonly treat anxiety/anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar and other mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, substance use and addiction, BPD, and co-occurring disorders. Medication management and brief therapy is often provided. Medications may be part of that plan either short or long-term depending on what will best support you through your journey.
I earned my bachelor's degree from the College of St. Scholastica and my master's and doctorate degree from the University of South Alabama in 2015. I have over 7 years of experience providing mental health care and medication management via telehealth and in an outpatient office setting.
