I treat various psychiatric disorders including the following: mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders; addiction - substance, sex/love, and others; geriatric psychiatric disorders, with the utilization of comprehensive memory evaluations; women's mental health (concerns about psychotropic medications during pregnancy & breast feeding); transgender Issues. I utilize psychopharmacology and/or individual psychotherapy to best address the problem at hand.
I attended college at the University of California at Berkeley and medical school within the New York State/American Program at Tel Aviv University, I completed my Internship and Residency in Psychiatry and Fellowships in Geriatric and Community Psychiatry at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA.
I am licensed as a Physician and Surgeon by the Medical Board of California and am board certified in Psychiatry as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I have been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA.
