Hopelessness keeps us from believing in ourselves and fuels inaction. It makes us think we aren't enough, or there is no way to get there from here, or both. You may feel as if you're not strong, creative, driven, or smart enough. I would disagree. We all have a divine nature that we sometimes lose sight of, especially when surrounded by environments that pollute our perceptions and make us afraid to take control of our own reality. My hope is that together, we can rediscover what lies dormant, so that when you look in the mirror you see the true you. I believe we can, and in time you will.
What I offer is the use of modern science, with a strong sense of intrinsic capacity for change, supported by a hope in what we fail to see but is truly there. Mental health is no different from physical health: at times, both need medication and/or therapy to heal, recover, and sometimes maintain our course through life's twists and turns.
Tieing a knot at the end of the rope is not a long term solution. I believe that just hanging from the rope is not the only option. I believe you can move forward and achieve your goals, even if you struggle to believe in yourself. I'm ready to join your support group whenever you're ready.
