I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with an established private practice since 2002. I specialize in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, a form of psychotherapy that focuses on helping people develop self-understanding about internal and relational dynamics which are repeated for reasons outside of consciousness. I assist clients with a variety of issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, anger, parenting, and recurring self defeating behaviors.
Services - I am currently only seeing new patients to evaluate for suitability for Transference Focused Psychotherapy, a form of psychotherapy that has been found effective for the treatment of borderline and narcissistic personality disorders.
Every individual comes to therapy with a need to be deeply understood. We struggle in ways that are deeply private and that may not be fully known even to ourselves. I strive to help each person feel safe enough that such private feelings can be explored. My hope is to understand who you are uniquely as an individual.
