She completed her undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University and her medical degree at Albany Medical College. She completed residency in general psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Wright State University/Wright Patterson AFB. She was in the United States Air Force for 9 years providing care for military members and their children. She has been providing care in the Dayton Ohio area since that time.
