I am a psychiatrist specializing in general adult and addiction psychiatry. I have worked with patients from diverse backgrounds in various settings including inpatient units, emergency rooms, residential treatment programs, county jails, diversion programs and street psychiatry. I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University, my medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC, my Masters of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I completed my Psychiatry residency at UCLA and my Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at UCSF.
I take a holistic approach and take the time to understand what is important to each patient and work collaboratively to achieve these goals. I believe in taking a harm-reduction, patient centered, approach to treatment.
