As well as residency training, she has also pursued further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU Psychoanalytic Institute. She states that whether prescribing medication, family, or relationship therapy, understanding psychodynamic conflict and causes of symptoms will cause help to enhance the quality of care. Shalom is a board-certified advanced practitioner with Full Practice Authority (FPA). He has worked in various behavioral health Hospitals since past 15 years in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient, managing care from adolescents with autism to older adults with dementia.
