I am a Northwestern-trained, board-certified physician psychiatrist with experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions. I utilize evidence-based medication strategies, integrative strategies (exercise, sleep hygiene and psychotherapy) to provide a comprehensive treatment approach that takes the whole person into account.

Dr. Lozano is the Medical Director of the Joliet Center for Clinical Research, founded in 2003. Dr. Lozano received his M.D. from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and completed his residency in Psychiatry at Loyola University of Chicago. Dr Lozano completed his Geriatric Fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center before starting his clinical practice in Joliet in 1994. Dr. Lozano is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Lozano sees patients from ages to 18 and older and with all disorders from the surrounding Intermediate Care Facilities, Hospitals and office.

Dr. Brown is a double board certified psychiatrist and treats children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Brown is an expert in the treatment of OCD. He will also work with clients regarding issues with PTSD, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. Dr. Brown focuses largely on using supplements and other natural treatments such as a behavioral change to find a path forward. However, he does prescribe medications as well when needed. The goal of treatment is the less medication overall the better as long as the person is doing ok.

Since 1995, Dr. Amer Smajkic has been practicing Psychiatry in the Chicago area. As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Dr Smajkic is applying his knowledge and skills as a Psycho-pharmacologist, Behaviorist and Cognitive Behavioral therapist. The focus of his care are ADHD disorders, Learning disorders, Developmental disorders, Mood disorders and Anxiety disorders.

I am a double board certified psychiatrist (general psychiatry and consultation-liaison pyschiatry) with 23 years of experience providing psychiatric care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I see adult patients to address a number of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD and OCD.

As a group psychotherapist and addiction psychiatrist, I am available to work with you on any phase of recovery from addictions, compulsive behaviors and the effects of being in a relationship with an addict (whether parent, sibling, partner or child). I understand addiction as a broad disease, including substances (alcohol, nicotine, opiates, stimulants, sedatives and other drugs), food, sex, money, work and codependence. Dr. Tahseen Mohammed is a General and Child & Adolescent psychiatrist with over eighteen years of experience, and a diplomate in both disciplines through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Dr. Mohammed completed a residency in General Psychiatry at University of Chicago and a fellowship in Child & Adolescent psychiatry at University of Illinois at Chicago. His experiences include serving as Medical Director of the Pediatric Bipolar disorder program at UIC, Medical Director of inpatient and outpatient services at Northwest Community hospital .

I offer uniquely broad and deep expert experience and judgement, accumulated during a career marked by decades of consistent compassionate professional competence, helping folks of all ages with stresses at work, school, or in relationships, or unhappy with depression, anxiety, ADHD, or trauma. Expect me to send you medical and other questionnaires to bring with you so we can be thorough and remain focused on your needs. You can usually count on some relief and a clear plan when you leave. Most of my patients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first week or two and sustained improvement thereafter.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with a specialization in addiction psychiatrist. I collaboratively work with my patients to provide the most personalized care directed toward their overall wellbeing using a holistic approach deploying all the modern tools available including but not limited to medication when appropriate, individual supportive psychotherapy, and motivational interviewing.

I look forward to working with individuals to explore their mental health and to improve their well-being based on their individual goals by utilizing a holistic, collaborative, person-centered approach. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health. I am also board-certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Richard Logan is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has a BSN from Concordia University and an MSN from Walden University. Richard can help individuals by listening to their concerns and what they wish to accomplish. Then, together, they and Richard can choose options best suited to them as an individual. Outside of work, Richard enjoys reading, outdoor sports, and camping.
