I specialize in working with adults living with mood and anxiety disorders, which can significantly impact one’s quality of life. I tailor treatments to meet the individual needs and comfort level of each person. I pride myself on offering people new ways to cope during difficult times in their lives, as well as treating chronic conditions that can prevent an individual from functioning at their highest potential.

I have had an outpatient practice for 41 years. During my residency at Michael Reese Hospital, I taught a psychiatry course to medical students. After graduation I worked at Illinois Masonic Hospital in a women's health clinic addressing the emotional needs of women. I also worked at both a nursing home and assisted living facility doing both talk therapy and medication. I enjoy working with both young and older adults from varied backgrounds. Hello there, I’m Dr. Gaddi, a physician and psychiatrist. I was born and raised in Venezuela, where I attended medical school. I completed my training as a psychiatrist at the University of Illinois in Peoria. I am the founder of Equal Mental Health, a practice dedicated to providing mental health services to the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the Northalsted neighborhood (formerly known as Boystown) in Chicago.

As a psychiatrist, I am dedicated to empathetic and patient-focused care. My mission is to use my extensive training and experience in adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry to treat patients of all ages in the Chicago community.

Elizabeth has been a family nurse practitioner since 2013, receiving a Masters degree in nursing from St. Xavier universory in Chicago.  She has worked in a variety of settings, including psychiatry that became her passion. Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, two children and their dog, soap making, and spending time outdoors.

Christina Nguyen is a board-certified and licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She graduated from the University of Kentucky with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Biology and Nursing. She then graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health. Christina has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder.

I am a board certified general adult psychiatrist, and I work with people who have a range of emotional problems including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. I use my training in psychiatry to provide comprehensive care to address the well-being of the whole person. I feel comfortable using medications to treat these problems when medications are indicated, and I also enjoy seeing patients for psychotherapy. I attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma, then completed my residency in psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where I was chief resident during my final year of training.

Endia McDonald is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who graduated from University of California San Francisco with a post master’s certificate and an MSN degree from DePaul University. She has several years of experience working as a nurse in various emergency department thought Illinois and California; during this time she cared for those with various mental health disorders including Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and many other mental health disorder. Her approach to client care is one that is collaborative and client centered.

I became interested in Psychiatry early on while studying psychology in college. From my early experiences in medical training, it became clear to me that I had a natural ability to listen and provide empathetic care for my patients. Providing education and counseling regarding psychiatric treatment is an important aspect of the field which I strive to accomplish in every visit. Throughout my training I have been consistently told that my unique ability to make a patient comfortable and heard is one of my greatest strengths.
