Hello there, I’m Dr. Gaddi, a physician and psychiatrist. I was born and raised in Venezuela, where I attended medical school. I completed my training as a psychiatrist at the University of Illinois in Peoria. I am the founder of Equal Mental Health, a practice dedicated to providing mental health services to the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the Northalsted neighborhood (formerly known as Boystown) in Chicago.

Dr. Brown is a double board certified psychiatrist and treats children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Brown is an expert in the treatment of OCD. He will also work with clients regarding issues with PTSD, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. Dr. Brown focuses largely on using supplements and other natural treatments such as a behavioral change to find a path forward. However, he does prescribe medications as well when needed. The goal of treatment is the less medication overall the better as long as the person is doing ok.

My treatment approach focuses on reducing your symptoms and developing more strength and flexibility in your overall managing system, e.g., how you characteristically feel and act in the world. Due to known and as yet unknown problematic side effects of all prescription drugs, I use much safer and ultimately more powerful methods for symptom relief, prevention of recurrence and enduring health.
