I am a licensed child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. I offer integrative and holistic psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents and young adults, in particular. I also treat older adults and my understanding of development and early challenges better informs my work with them as well.
I have a comprehensive approach to healing with a view to addressing whole health incorporating nutritional, genetic, behavioral, environmental and community factors in addition to psychotropic medication treatment, if needed.
I am a Duke University Medical School graduate and I completed my residency in Psychiatry at San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services in California and a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, I graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA and a J. D.
