Hello! Golden Mental Health is the practice of Rachel Jacks, ARNP. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I treat adults, with a particular interest in treating women, moms/parents, and queer/trans folk. I seek to create an environment where clients feel safe to explore their symptoms with me, so we can get an accurate diagnosis and develop an effective treatment plan.
I provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment, including medication management and brief supportive therapy. I treat adults (ages 18-60) with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, among others. All initial evals are done in person, and follow ups may be in person or virtual, as preferred by the client when appropriate.
My favorite thing about the work I do is watching people grow. I believe in a collaborative approach to treatment, in which decisions are shared between the client and myself within an evidence-based framework.
