I am a Double Board-Certified General and Forensic Psychiatrist. I am passionate about mental health and the role it plays in leading a successful, purpose driven life. My undergraduate degree is in Biology and Philosophy from Quinnipiac University and then I went on to study at Ross University School of Medicine. My psychiatric Residency training was completed at Howard University Hospital. I sub-specialized in Forensic Psychiatry at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital.
I treat patients from all age groups (ages 16 and above) with various conditions including (but not limited to) mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, trauma related disorders and eating disorders. I enjoy working with patients to help them gain control of their symptoms and understand themselves better.
I strive to find unique treatment plans. I help my patients attain mental well-being & optimum overall health. I advocate for collaborative care to bridge the gap of communication and efficiency within their care team. My patients can plan to work together to find a sustainable treatment regimen and additional resources to optimize mental health.
