Dr. Appling graduated from Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2013 with his Associate's Degree in Nursing Science. He received his Bachelor of Nursing Science from Kaplan University in 2016 with honors, and in 2019 received his MSN from the University of South Alabama. He recently completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the same institution, with honors in the fall of 2021. Asata Kamara AGNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a noteworthy and highly experienced medical professional with over 20 years of experience. As a Doctoring Prepared Nurse (DNP) as well as 9 years of experience as a Certified Adult Geriatric and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Kamara has vast experience in the treatment and management of anxiety disorder, mood disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), insomnia, and schizophrenia. She also has immense experience in the treatment and management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes type 2.

Erika Kang, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC is a graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her Masters as an FNP and Augusta University where she received her PMHNP as a Post Masters. While Psychiatry is her true passion, she loves being able to incorporate a comprehensive treatment plan using her background as an FNP by helping clients understand how untreated or unmanaged physical illnesses can exacerbate mental illness. She enjoys working with her clients to help them achieve the goals they are seeking, whether through medication alone or a combination of medication and psychotherapy.

Dr. Kannegenti specializes in Adult Psychiatry and is licensed to treat patients with Opioid Dependence. Dr. Kannegenti believes that there is always more to be learned and mastered. It is that philosophy that has led him to attend many courses on the new treatments and advancements in the psychiatry field and drug addiction therapy. Dr. Kannegenti strives to give his patients the best and most compassionate care possible.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science from University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have been a provider for over 25 years first as an RN working with clients having experienced catastrophic injuries or life-limiting disease in palliative care and trauma and then as a Nurse Practitioner in both Psychiatry and Palliative Care. I have followed clients in residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient levels of care for mental health and alcohol/substance use treatment.

Dr. Oksana Kershteyn is a Psychiatrist in Georgia who has been practicing since 2005. She earned her medical degree from Russia's top medical school, the Siberian State Medical University, where she also completed her general adult neurology residency. After moving to United States, she completed her general psychiatry residency at Albany Medical College in NY. While there she was a Chief Resident. Dr. Kershteyn truly believes that appropriate and timely treatment of emotional illness and substance use disorders can restore patient's health, productivity, social and family life to the fullest.

Dr. Kessen graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Utah. She enjoys taking a personalized approach to each patient she sees, taking into account their unique life experiences. Dr. Kessen focuses on medication management of adult patients ages 18 and older with mood and anxiety disorders, as well as others falling under general psychiatry. Dr. Kessen is known to be a good listener who cares greatly for her patients. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and traveling.

In Dr. Klein's spare time, he enjoys reading, running, and playing video games. Originally from the mid-west, he relocated to escape the winter weather.
