Now more than ever we recognize the importance of maintaining good mental health and wellness in our lives. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in the New Orleans area for over 20 years. I completed my medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine followed by my residency in Psychiatry at Tulane where I served as chief resident. I enjoy and have experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions in adults including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I also work with patients dealing with other struggles including relationship issues, stress management, and life transitions.
My practice incorporates both medication management in conjunction with psychotherapy. My approach is collaborative, supportive, patient centered, and goal oriented. At the heart of my clinical approach is a strong emphasis on establishing trust and building a therapeutic relationship to help patients achieve their goals.
Many of us lead busy lives with stressful schedules. I feel strongly that if we prioritize our mental health, the other pieces will more easily fall into place allowing us to not simply get by, but to thrive. I work closely with every patient to design a treatment plan tailored to meet their individual needs and to help them achieve their goals.
