As a Geriatric Psychiatrist, I have special experience treating Dementia, Anxiety, Depression, among others in the elderly. I am fluent in Spanish and English and have experience treating patients of many different backgrounds. It is my mission to treat each patient with much respect as well as to provide support to their loved ones and caregivers.

I am a double board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. My specialties are women's mental health, parenting, & invisible disabilities. In addition to my private practice, I serve as voluntary faculty at the University of Miami, where I have the privilege of instructing psychiatry residents and fellows, as well as those in the OBGYN departments.

Dr. DeSantis is a board certified psychiatrist in both general and geriatric psychiatry. He is originally from Reading, PA. He graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (Erie, PA) in 2006. His medical internship was at Memorial Hospital in York, PA in 2006-07. His psychiatric residency was from 2007-10 at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (Stratford, NJ). His geriatric fellowship was in 2010-11 at Rowan University’s New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging (Stratford, NJ).

Over the past 5 to 6 years, she has tirelessly served as a board-certified professional, specializing in psychiatry. My genuine love for the subject shines through in my daily interactions with patients, as I strive to make a positive impact on their mental well-being. Beyond my professional accomplishments, I embrace the role of a nurturing mother to five beautiful children. Balancing my career and family responsibilities, I exemplify resilience and devotion, both at home and in my practice.

I have been in the medical profession for over 15 years. I started as a medical assistant and then transitioned into Nursing where I have spent the majority of my time working as an Oncology Nurse at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center. While I have enjoyed growing in my profession, Mental Health was always my passion. In 2011, I obtained my Master's in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University and 2 years later, my certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Maryville University.

I began my journey in nursing with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others. My extensive clinical experience spans various healthcare settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, community mental health centers, and outpatient clinics. As a PMHNP, I am skilled in conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing personalized treatment plans. I am passionate about empowering individuals to achieve mental wellness through a combination of medication management, therapy, and holistic interventions.

Dr. Maliha Desmukh is board-certified and treats patients older than 18 with a special interest in women’s mental health. Dr. Desmukh’s approach to medication is minimalistic, using it only when necessary and striving for an effective dose that minimizes the risk of side effects. She also employs multiple therapeutic styles alongside psychopharmacology for optimal results. Dr. Desmukh wanted to become a psychiatrist in medical school after realizing optimal health is derived from a combination of physical and mental well-being. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and I see adults 18 and older who suffer from psychiatric/mental health disorders. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with my Masters Degree in Nursing as well as my Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

I am board certified as a family nurse practitioner, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and addictions professional. I am considered an expert in opiate detox and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My education is bachelors and master's in nursing from University of South Florida, doctorate in Public Health from University of South Florida, and Post doctorate from Columbia University in clinical Addictions research. After working in the field of addictions for 25 years and the VA system for 13 years, I am well qualified and experienced to treat those who suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD and addictions.

Gretchen believes that effective mental health care extends beyond traditional methods, integrating physical, emotional, and social well-being to foster comprehensive recovery and growth. Her practice is rooted in the conviction that each patient’s journey is unique, and she is committed to creating tailored treatment plans that respect and respond to individual needs.

I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who is board certified in child, adolescent, and adult Psychiatric/Mental Health and Adult/Geriatric Primary Care. Currently, I work in Psych/Mental Health and manage care of all ages. I am able to evaluate, diagnose, pharmacologically treat, provide supportive therapy, refer, and provide follow-up medication management to individuals who present with DSM V diagnoses.

Dr. Manvir Dhillon is passionate about helping individuals from underprivileged and underserved backgrounds. Dr. Dhillon’s areas of focus include adult psychiatry and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). He helps patients with anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD), post-traumatic stress (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive (OCD), adjustment, dissociative, eating, panic, psychotic spectrum, and sleep disorders.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I specialize in providing comprehensive mental health care. My role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with various mental health conditions. I collaborate closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication management, and holistic approaches to promote mental wellness. I am committed to supporting my clients on their journey towards improved mental health, offering compassionate care and evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico by a Cuban mother and a Puertorrican father; completed my medical school training as well as my first year of Psychiatry Residency at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School – San Juan, which is the largest Medical Center in Puerto Rico. After completion of my first year of residency I transferred to Gainesville, Florida to finish my psychiatry residency from the University of Central Florida/ HCA Consortium program.
