My name is Dr. Ezechiel Madestin. I am an experienced board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a doctorate degree in nursing practice (DNP). My passion is to help people with mental illnesses such as major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, ADD, ADHD, Schizophrenia...etc. I diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. I treat them accordingly with a patient-centered approach. I do psychiatric evaluations, prescribe the appropriate drug regimen and treatment, and discontinue unnecessary drugs and treatments. I accurately document my patient care measures .

I understand the importance of working with people struggling from mental illness as well as working with their families. I understands the ignominy involved with psychiatric disorders and the disease of addiction and the strength it takes to ask for help. The most important aspect of my role is building rapport with my patients so they feel emotionally safe opening up about their need for medication. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for my patients to feel vulnerable and share their struggles. She works closely with each client on a personalized one-on-one basis to determine an effective, customized treatment plan and is heavily invested in each client’s success. Yi’s deliberately small practice allows her to provide outsized individualized attention to each client, and further enables her to be your advocate for success at every step of the way.

Sima Alavi is a Board Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in 1995, after graduating from the University of Miami and continued on to earn her masters and Doctorate degree in the field of mental health with specialization in both children and adults. Her focus is in rehabilitation, detoxification, and recovery for both inpatient and outpatient treatment centers. Through evaluation and stabilization, she targets treatment for individuals experiencing a crisis situation and those who seek the need for immediate intervention. She works collaboratively with fellow psychiatric practitioners

Healing starts from the head down! I am a board certified psychiatrist that is not only passionate about adults but also children. I have a specialized fellowship training to treat children and adolescents which assists me with seeing patients of all ages. I enjoy listening to patient’s life journey and prefer a holistic approach to treatment. If your availability and mine don’t align, feel free to make an appointment with one of my colleagues.
