As a nurse, with almost 15 years of experience in caring for patients, I found my passion in helping those struggle with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADD, and self-esteem issues. I have a particular interest in the pediatric/adolescent population as they are facing stressors that this population has never had to face before and have been experiencing mental health concerns at an alarming rate, however I work with clients up to the age of 60. I provide comprehensive care through medication management and talk therapy and I believe in a conservative approach when possible.

Dr. Ebony Davis-Petit earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

My approach to patient care is holistic in nature and strives to go beyond treating symptoms by uncovering the root cause of mental health difficulties. With over 20 years of nursing experience, it has been my passion to deliver the highest quality of care with respect, and empathy for all patients. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I strive to develop effective, individualized treatment plans with the goal of restoring balance and health. In partnership, we will develop a lifestyle plan that builds on your strengths and cultivates resilience to help move toward a more fulfilling life.
