Her knowledge and passion merge as she delivers tailored treatment to the specific needs and preferences of each client. Sarah provides education about all available treatment options in a judgement free, safe space where she works together with her patients to formulate a plan of care. She is a mental health advocate, and genuinely cares!

My name is Peter Bronstein and I am a psychiatric and adult nurse practitioner and licensed mental health counselor. I have been working in the mental health and substance abuse field for over 26 years. I am triple board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center, The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Florida Board of Mental Health Counseling. I practice psychiatric medication management, and have been doing so for the last 12 years. I provide treatment for a wide range of complex mental health issues in adults, utilizing medications, exercise, diet and complementary and alternative treatment modalities.

Brence Brooks is a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2020. He received his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Louisville and his master’s degree in Nursing from Walden University. Specialty areas include medication management for major depressive disorder, bipolar I and II disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, childhood behavioral disorders, psychotic disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

I graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minors in Chemistry and Behavioral Neuroscience. I completed my medical school training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and my psychiatry residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I am experienced in treating a variety of psychiatric disorders in adults of all ages, as well as young adults, having spent time treating students in the SUNY college system.

An ideal client may be someone struggling with behavioral health issues, particularly substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. This client may have a range of issues, including addiction to drugs or alcohol, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or other mental health disorders. Sima Alavi is a Board Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in 1995, after graduating from the University of Miami and continued on to earn her masters and Doctorate degree in the field of mental health with specialization in both children and adults. Her focus is in rehabilitation, detoxification, and recovery for both inpatient and outpatient treatment centers. Through evaluation and stabilization, she targets treatment for individuals experiencing a crisis situation and those who seek the need for immediate intervention. She works collaboratively with fellow psychiatric practitioners

I understand the importance of working with people struggling from mental illness as well as working with their families. I understands the ignominy involved with psychiatric disorders and the disease of addiction and the strength it takes to ask for help. The most important aspect of my role is building rapport with my patients so they feel emotionally safe opening up about their need for medication. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for my patients to feel vulnerable and share their struggles. I strive to not only listen but to educate my patients on their diagnoses and the medications they have been prescribed.
