Dr. Weinstock graduated from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. He then went on to complete his residency training in psychiatry at Tulane University Medical Center. Dr. Weinstock is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has been in full-time clinical practice since 2005.He has been appointed an Affiliate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of South Florida Medical School, Psychiatry Department.

I bring with me a unique set of work experiences that have fostered my passion for helping those that suffer from mental health disorders. My own personal experiences and past employment endeavors have given me empathy to help patients with mental health disorders. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, it is my goal to advocate for patients who struggle to be heard or respected, and to manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic care. I will do all I can to assist individuals and their families in recognizing, without stigma, the value of psychiatric assistance.

I am a licensed and dual Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a PMHNP, I take the time to get to know my patients and allow them to be included in the decision-making process. I believe in the importance of educating my patients in their treatment options so that they can make informed decisions. I understand and recognize the negative stigma associated with mental health, but I can assure you that it is my objective to alleviate this stigma while making sure that my patients feel comfortable, and able to trust me when it comes to their mental health concerns.

Marc Ettensohn, MD graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency program at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident for the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry. He also completed an ECT fellowship at Emory University and an administrative fellowship at the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After his training, he became the medical director for the private practice, Actify of South Florida, specializing in the use of intravenous and intranasal ketamine for treatment-resistant anxiety and depressive disorders.

I love working with patients from all backgrounds to help them find a sense of normalcy and peace in their daily lives. With many years of experience in healthcare, I bring a wealth of expertise to every session. I hold Medical Degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Sancti Spiritus, Cuba. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology from The University of Basque Country, Spain. After earning a Master’s Degree, I completed a four-year Psychiatry Residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York, where I served as Chief Psychiatry Resident during the fourth year of training. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations and addressing a wide array of mental health concerns.
