She is a foreign Medical Doctor who graduated in Cuba from the University of Medicine of Havana, “Calixto Garcia.” She has more than eight years of experience in the medical field. She treats patients with psychiatric conditions like depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and other mental health diagnoses. She is passionate and dedicated to her work and patients’ health outcomes.

Dr. Melanio Bruceta is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida. Dr. Melanio has been in the medical field for over 25 years and has been practicing psychiatry for the past eight years. He is certified to treat clients across the lifespan. Jermilla Augustin is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong desire to help people and improve their daily lives. She specializes in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a mental health nurse for over 10 years in various acute settings treating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Helen Lancy is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from Spring Arbor University, pursuing a Doctor of Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Missouri. With four years of adult-gerontology psychiatry experience, she specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma in adults 18+. Passionate about providing evidence-based, compassionate care, Helen is dedicated to serving patients from diverse backgrounds, particularly those in underserved communities. Helen champions patient empowerment, guiding her patients to take control of their health and emotional wellbeing.

I feel honored to have completed my Psychiatric Residency training at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC. Having grown up in Cuba I moved in 2019 to be closer to my family and practice in the beautiful weather here in sunny Florida. As an adult psychiatrist I specialize in treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD and PTSD. I'm committed to creating a strong doctor-patient therapeutic relationship with a patient-centered focus of care. My approach is providing a consistent, empathic and nonjudgmental space to help my patients relieve their suffering and improve their mental well-being.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.
