I also see each as an overcomer rather than a victim, no matter what the trauma. EMDR may be used if appropriate. My approach is interpersonal and I see the therapist and client as two people working together toward a goal set by the client. I offer medication management and integrate natural supplements added to prescription medications whenever possible.

We are currently accepting new patients for ADHD Neuropsychological testing. Think you have ADHD? No problem! We offer ADHD Objective Testing that can be used to guide ADHD diagnosis for patients. The testing can also be done at the office and via telehealth. We also offer adult autism assessment and DBT-informed therapy. At Ample Grace Psychiatry, we offer a custom approach for each client! We start with understanding where you are now and your challenges. We help you put a plan in place to help you move forward, and we celebrate your successes along the way. I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Dr. Gardine Jacques holds two national board certifications with the American Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), and adult nurse practitioner (ANP). Dr. Jacques completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida International University. She received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, and her master's in nursing at the University of South Florida. She received her Postmaster at Valdosta State University. Dr. Jacques is experienced in cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance, and commitment therapy, mindfulness cognitive behavior therapy, strength-based therapy, and trauma care.

Hi, am the owner/ head Clinician at Hope Mental Health. When you come see me, you will get 2 providers in your care. Myself and one of my fabulous student/interns. The latter will take your medical/psych history and then I will come on and join to create the treatment plan and prescribe meds when evaluation is complete. On subsequent visits, you will see the student/intern and he/she will bring me on when needed when a change is needed to meds or the treatment plan. Our practice is integrative/functional in nature, meaning that we combine traditional psych meds with supplements, including vitamins to treat the root problem.
