Certified in psychiatry, I am a physician assistant with over 17 years of experience and a graduate of the Cornell Medical College PA program. My dedication lies in providing the best treatment to my patients, specializing in the treatment of multiple psychiatric and substance use disorders. My goal is to foster strong connections with every patient, enabling me to thoroughly understand their issues and effectively target the underlying causes of their disorder.

My hope for all patients I see , is that I help you to “build new horizons” and at some point, no longer need my services, or need them minimally. So I approach an Individual broadly to examine any and all causes for symptoms, including looking at Medical Causes for Psychiatric Symptoms. If a Brainmap is indicated, that can be part of the Assessment along with DNA Testing. Then I use a wide array of Treatment Modalities such as Biofeedback, Medications, and Psychotherapy. Dr. Jennifer Richie, DNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She is passionate about providing quality compassionate and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. Jennifer possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. Her background includes child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and addiction medicine.

I am a dual certified nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care and psychiatric mental health, offering integrative mental health treatments (a holistic approach that uses conventional and complimentary therapies to treat psychiatric disorders) to children, adolescents, and young adults. I have experience working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, OCD and PTSD, as well as behavioral issues in children and teenagers.

Trained at Wright State University with a focus on integrating psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, Dr. Alexander excels in delivering personalized treatment plans with proven effectiveness. This patient-first approach, combined with a rich background in community engagement, positions Dr. Alexander as a psychiatrist who understands the complexities of the complete human experience - mind, body and spirit.

Living with mental illness is just as, if not more, challenging than living with a physical illness. We understand that just because an illness can’t be seen, that doesn’t mean it’s not there. We are empathetic to the suffering and struggles that patients with mental illness experience as even we have multiple family members who have ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD and/or PTSD. Advocating for the proper mental health treatment of our family members and patients is a priority for us as we have witnessed the profound effect successful psychiatric treatment can have on improving one’s quality of life.

Each patient has a unique set of needs and therefore requires a unique approach to achieve their individual mental health goals. Not every patient is a one size fits all approach. Often, creativity in care planning is necessary to give my patient the best intervention strategy that fits their life and their goals. Dr. Allison Jackson is a Harvard-trained board-certified psychiatrist who opened MindfulMD as a way to provide individually tailored, compassionate psychiatric care for her patients. She is accepting new patients in Florida (in-person in Tampa and virtual over the entire state). She has experience treating a wide variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, sleep issues, sexual health issues, bipolar disorder, PTSD, derm-psych conditions i.e. skin picking and trichotillomania, and many more. She also has worked with patients on managing stress related to relationships, illness, burnout, grief, career, or identity.

Linda Marie Lann is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who works with children and adults, ranging from 4 years of age to 65. Linda utilizes evidence-based practices when working with all her clients and treats each with empathy. She takes the necessary time to get to know each of them so she can personalize treatment to their needs.
