Ideally, I prefer to work with clients who are ready for change. They have taken a look at their mental health, and while they may not know exactly what is going on, they know something is not right and they want help. I love to work with people who want to partner with me to come up with a treatment plan, and then own that treatment, participating fully in their care. I strongly believe medication management can be an integral part of mental health, but without psychotherapy and embracing changing what is not working, it cannot do the job alone.

Erika has over 25 years of experience as a nurse. She is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from Walden University. She is focused on providing care to those struggling with mental illness. Erika believes that creating a trusting relationship, between the patient and provider results in a more calming and communicative experience.

During this time, she obtained her RN from Palm Beach State College. Over two decades of working as an RN with mental health patients, she has developed a strong passion for mental health. She decided to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021. Esther has devoted her life to helping others both locally and abroad. She goes to Haiti every year on a mission trip with other healthcare providers.
