I am a foreign medical graduate who is currently practicing as a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I'm very passionate about mental health and helping individuals improve their quality of life. I specialize in Substance Abuse, ADHD, Anxiety/Depression, BPD, Bipolar Disorder, MDD, OCD, and many more among children/adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. I'm also fluent in English, Creole, and French.

Ideally, I prefer to work with clients who are ready for change. They have taken a look at their mental health, and while they may not know exactly what is going on, they know something is not right and they want help. I love to work with people who want to partner with me to come up with a treatment plan, and then own that treatment, participating fully in their care. I strongly believe medication management can be an integral part of mental health, but without psychotherapy and embracing changing what is not working, it cannot do the job alone.

I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

I provide medication management services only with 60 minute initial appointments and 20 minute follow up appointments. I do not provide traditional psychotherapy services in this practice

My goal is to establish a practice where patients are able to have timely access to medication management and counseling services in an effort to help them persevere with ease. I make my best effort to find the potential in each patient and formulate a treatment plan that is individualized to their needs. At present, I am offering the traditional outpatient setting as well as incorporating the use of technology to provide convenient psychiatric services to patients while they remain in the comfort of their own home.
