I am dual certified nurse practitioner as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I believe understanding the connection between the mind and body is paramount. I’m passionate about decreasing the stigma around mental health. I grew up in a culture where it was not okay to express any feelings and the idea of mental health/depression/anxiety was brushed under the rug. I offer psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medication management if needed.. we can always talk about alternatives in your treatment plan such as therapy, resources to learn more about what you're experiencing and supplements if you are not interested in medication. I am able to provide supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation.
