I am an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner treating children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of behavioral and emotional diagnosis/difficulties. It is my endeavor to provide excellent and thoughtful psychopharmacology and therapy with compassion and attuned insight. With 12 years’ experience working inpatient, outpatient and in emergency settings. I have developed a more holistic approach to psychiatry by exploring the individual’s mental, physical, and emotional health. I enjoy building on patient’s strengths and goals by using tools including evidence-based psychotherapy, medication and mindfulness
My work includes people with relationship issues, addictions, eating disorders, insomnia mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, schizophrenia and psychosis. In addition, I also provide Pharmacogenetic testing for patients that predict how they will respond to drug therapy based on their individual genetic makeup.
During your first session, you will receive a comprehensive assessment, and from there we can work together to develop an individualized treatment plan.
