I am a board certified psychiatrist providing diagnostic assessments and treatment recommendations in an outpatient, multidisciplinary private practice setting. I place emphasis on accurate assessment utilizing the biopsychosocial model, which involves a comprehensive understanding of the genetic/biological, psychological, and social/circumstantial elements inherent to each person's unique story. These insights provide for the appropriate use of pharmacological, psychotherapeutic, and practical choices that lead to optimal patient outcomes.
Stylistically, I like to provide patients a variety of treatment options based upon my initial assessment. I recommend follow-up as indicated for any given treatment approach, and schedule re-appointment on timelines designed to produce optimal results.
As the treatment goals are obtained, I will provide recommendations for continuing care with other mental health or primary care providers, depending on the preference of the patient.
