I treat adults with all mental health issue including depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and others. I do so with empathy and listening to the needs and concerns of my patients. I specialize in perinatal/reproductive psychiatry which is the care of women and families trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or up to two years postpartum. With 15 years of experience, I am well-equipped to treat all mental health conditions.
I strongly believe in close collaboration between psychiatrist and therapist. I am the the first physician in the state of New Jersey to have acquired the perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C). I am the founder and CEO of Elite Psychiatry with an office in Westfield, NJ and also offer rapid-access virtual appointments to anyone in the state of NJ.
The doctor-patient relationship and the decision making process should be a team approach. My role is to help the patient learn about their diagnosis and give them the tools to make the treatment decisions that work best for them. Every person is an individual, has different needs and values, and I respect that when discussing treatment options.
