Life is a journey that requires resiliency. I have always had a passion for helping others. In that pursuit, I graduated with a BS in nutrition from WVU (1986). I went on to become a registered nurse (1993 SU). Now I am board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (2013) as well as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (2021). As a nurse/NP for over 25 years, I have provided holistic care to patients in a variety of settings from ICU, acute rehabilitation settings, long-term care, home health and telemedicine services.
I believe that mental health impacts every aspect of a person’s life. Personal wellness is a journey and I enjoy collaborating with individuals in their pursuit of wellbeing and health.
When not in the office, I enjoy traveling with my husband and experiencing new places and cultures. I hope one day to have set foot on every continent.
