Prior to joining Amavi, I worked with the acute adult psychiatric population at Denver Health. Michael Garza is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I hold extensive experience in acute adult inpatient psychiatry while working in Denver Health’s Adult Inpatient Medical/Psychiatric Unit since 2014. My education in nursing, in addition to my degrees in psychology and theology, provides a client-focused practice that welcomes a collaborative, non-judgmental space. I strongly believe that every client’s life story is unique and deserves a personalized and holistic incorporation of individual narratives, social support systems, and values.

Mindful Minds Psychiatry is a group outpatient psychiatric practice in Colorado, offering in person and telehealth to children starting at 3years old, adolescents, and adults in our multiple locations.

Sherra St Clair is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Doctor of Nursing. She has more than a decade of experience working with individuals and families with a wide range of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. She is a compassionate provider who welcomes patients of all genders and socioeconomic backgrounds. Sherra recognizes that each individual is the expert in their life experiences and works to empower people to recognize their strengths, worth, and potential.

Born and raised in Kansas City, I decided to pursue a medical career during high school. I went to trade school and worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist. After several years I decided to further my education in nursing, attaining my LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, and post-graduate certification. I graduated summa cum laude from all nursing coursework. Margurite decided to pursue my PMHNP certification out of my desire to more effectively help others suffering from anxiety and depression.

Mara Minasian is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2020. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an MSN from Vanderbilt University. Mara treats patients across the lifespan with a variety of mental health disorders, with a focus on treating young adults with mood and anxiety disorders. She uses a collaborative and individualized approach to providing care that incorporates medication management, supportive therapy, and patient education.

Amber Grob has been providing psychiatric medication management for the past 8 years. Prior to, Amber Grob worked in the hospital setting as a psychiatric nurse. Amber Grob has extensive experience managing chronic conditions such as depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and chronic pain.

Maria Mojica-Rangel is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2013. Maria provides psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and medication management for the treatment of OCD, PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, and Behavioral disorders. She has over ten years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner working with children, adolescents, and adults.

My intention is to provide compassionate and thoughtful treatment for every child, adolescent and adult I work with. I often see people who are uncertain if they want medicine and are concerned about the potential risks. I will listen carefully to your concerns, conduct a complete assessment, and then discuss the pro's and con's of your different treatment options so you can make the best decision for yourself or your child. I often recommend combinations of psychotherapy and medications. I have found that carefully prescribed medication frequently enables people to grow more rapidly in psychotherapy.
