Hello, my name is Lindsey. I see kids in the PARKER location. I was born and raised in the state of Colorado. I have 15 years of healthcare experience working directly with patients across the lifespan. Throughout my career, I worked as a nursing assistant, a burn care technician, and a registered nurse. I have worked in multiple settings such as the Neuro ICU, the Burn Unit, as well as the Operating Room. During my nursing career, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to different surgical centers and hospitals around Colorado and Vermont.

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and the founder of authentic mental health, PLLC.  I am a compassionate, down-to-earth provider, who is dedicated to helping individuals manage their mental and emotional well-being while creating healthy, fulfilling lives. I specialize in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health conditions within a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and working towards their mental health goals. I believe in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance and involving clients in their own treatment plans.

She brings a vast amount of knowledge and expertise in psychiatric medication management in both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Rebecca Katz is a Board Certified Psychiatrist. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Katz received a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and was a High School Science and Math Teacher as well as an Athletic coach in Pennsylvania for 6 years. She went on to receive a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in stroke research from Rutgers’s University before changing careers to study medicine.

Hello! I graduated with a degree in nursing from Santa Monica College in 2009. Since that time, I’ve worked in several hospital settings including intensive care. I finished my first masters degree as and Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2017 from California State University at Dominguez Hills and started managing extremely sick people in a long-term acute care hospital One universal I’ve seen throughout my many different careers in and out of healthcare is that the presence (or absence) of good mental health care spells the difference between success and failure in any environment.

My goal as a provider has always been to create a space where every patient feels heard, comfortable, and welcomed. I am passionate about providing care that not only addresses mental health concerns but also supports the overall well-being of my patients.
