Aleksandra Krunic, MD, lead psychiatrist and founder of the practice, has been utilizing a similar helmet for the treatment of depression with great patient outcomes. Deep TMS has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for depression since 2013 and received approval for OCD in August of 2018.
