I am a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. Between my time as a registered nurse and an advanced practice registered nurse, I have gained experience in providing psychiatric and mental health services in a wide variety of settings including inpatient units, outpatient practices, transitional living facilities, and community mental health centers. I pride myself with being a culturally sensitive “people person”. I am non-judgmental and have the basic understanding that as humans we all want live our best lives and be the best version of ourselves.
I have experience in assessing and treating psychiatric and mental health disorders such as major depressive disorders, generalized anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders; not all inclusive. I provide medication management and will refer for therapy as needed.
At the initial evaluation, I aim to develop a therapeutic relationship and understanding of my client’s needs, with the goal of developing an individualized patient-centered treatment plan.
