As a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on psychiatry, I began my healthcare career in 2006 as an RN, progressing through degrees at OHSU, Vanderbilt, George Washington University to specialize in mental health prescriptions. I independently prescribe medications to all of Oregon state.

I assess both physical and mental health to identify the best treatment, starting where the patient is ready. While I don't offer counseling, I emphasize its importance alongside medication—likening health recovery to a car trip where medication starts the engine and therapy teaches driving. I prescribe medications and advocate for therapy.
