As a family psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am able to assess, diagnose and provide medication management. Currently, I am only taking middle school children through adulthood. When prescribing medication for any child or adult it is important to take into consideration the mind, body, spirit connection. In order to best serve the individual, it is extremely important to differentiate between what is medical vs. psychiatric vs needing other modalities. I provide counseling for the adult clients who I see for med management, should they want it.

I work with middle schoolers through adults who suffer from ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I understand that other healing modalities can be very useful, often promoting profound changes on a different level from traditional allopathic medicine. I welcome families that integrate these other modalities into their lives.

My background as a nurse in medicine/surgery/primary care and emergency care informs my work with all clients. I have a psychoanalytic background, Internal Family Systems theory as well as other modalities.
