She has provided medication management for individuals with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar and related disorders, OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and substance use disorders. She provides supportive psychotherapy and includes elements of mindfulness and various modalities including psychodynamic, somatic, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I believe in a individualized approach to treatment. Although many patients may present with similar symptoms, the causes and context underlying those symptoms can be very different and thus the treatment plans are unique. Some patients may benefit from psychotropic medications either for a short period of time or for long term maintenance treatment. Others would gain more benefit from psychotherapy or talk therapy, where some of the root causes underlying the symptoms can be addressed and healed. The choice to use medications, therapy or a combination of both depends on the context of symptoms and the patient's wishes.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist, teacher, and published author. I offer treatments designed for adults and older adults, and I have a dedicated focus on reproductive psychiatry. I have trained between Italy and the United States, where I conducted research at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and ultimately completed my training at the University of Southern California. In 2020, I became a Clinical Instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I perfected my training and gained a second board certification in Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry, which focuses on complex clinical scenarios.

Dr. Maryam Zarrabi is committed to fostering a safe space free of judgment. She understands the value of informed, collaborative, and individual treatment plans. Dr. Zarrabi’s holistic and evidence-based approach incorporates psychopharmacology, biopsychosocial factors, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Northwell Health, where she was awarded the Russell T. Joffe Memorial Award and the clinical excellence award.

Christy Zeegen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Los Angeles, California. With a rich background serving both pediatric and adult patients, Christy's expertise spans developmental and intellectual differences as well as broader mental health challenges. She firmly believes in the intertwined relationship between holistic health and achieving balance in one's life.

Zubin Zehtab is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in California who has been practicing since 2023. Zubin can help a client by conducting a thorough assessment to gather information about the client's mental health status, history, and treatment goals. Then he would provide evidence-based treatments such as psychotherapy, medication management, and referrals to other healthcare providers as needed, and regularly monitor the client's progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed. Zubin believes in educating the client and their family about their mental health condition, the treatment plan, and any side effects of medications.
