Psychiatrists Beginning With L in California
Patients often feel mixed emotions when first seeing a mental health professional. On the one hand, they may feel relieved that they finally took this important step. On the other hand, they may feel hesitation about having to discuss their most intimate problems with a stranger. It is important to let them take their time to open up when they are ready, and to reassure them that this information is privileged.

It is important to me that I collaborate closely with my patients and their families in their treatments since it is their health and wellbeing that we are focusing on. I believe spending individual time with each of my child and adolescent patients is an important part of the therapeutic process, as well as a providing a separate space and time for parents to share their own experiences. The patients and families that I would like to work with are those that are interested in investing in their child's and their health and needs so that they can progress towards a happier lifestyle and develop healthy relationships with others.

Call now & let’s talk about it. The interactions that occur between our bodies, minds, & environment have always piqued my curiosity. This curiosity has taken me on a plethora of excursions as I have learned how we come to be such distinct individuals. The medical specialty that makes the most sense is psychiatry and the bio-psycho-social approach, which considers all facets of a person's life. Being an integrative psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I am receptive to both conventional & complementary/alternative methods for achieving recovery and completeness.
